In the battle of the sexes we are always trying to understand the opposite sex a bit better. It makes for some great jokes and illustrations, many of which are found on this website. I used to like to tell a joke about it when I was speaking at seminars, it went like this:

One day a biker was traveling along the California coast highway and he decided to take a rest and walked down to the beach. There he found an old lamp, and when he polished it, out popped a genie. The genie granted the biker one wish. The biker made his request, “I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii, but I only travel by bike, so I’ve never been there. I would like you to build me a bridge to Hawaii.”

The genie said, “There are a lot of things that could make building a bridge to Hawaii nearly impossible, please think about something easier.”

The biker thought long and hard and said, “Well if ya can’t do that, I guess the only other thing I’d like would be to understand women.”

With that, the genie replied, “This bridge, would you like two lanes or four?”
